What we collect
Ming Path may collect your email address, name or nickname, birth date, optional birth time, birthplace selection, latitude and longitude, IANA timezone, birth-time accuracy, derived time-correction details, selected focus area, generated reading details, submission timestamp, and basic technical events needed to keep the service working.
Why we collect it
We use this information to operate the waitlist, resolve historical timezone and true solar time when possible, generate or preview a self-reflection report, understand whether the product is useful, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and maintain basic business records.
Storage and service providers
Reading, support, and request records are stored with the application database configured for this service. Email delivery provider: Alibaba Mail. Optional analytics are provided by Google Analytics 4 only after you choose to allow them. Ming Path does not send your name, email, birth details, order reference, access link, or question to analytics. When paid report access is available, checkout is hosted by Dodo Payments; payment details are not collected through Ming Path forms.
On-device seven-day practice
The seven-day practice stores only your element, start date, and check-in choices. It stays in that browser so the next day can open without an account. It does not store your name, email, birth details, question, or reading result, and clearing browser site data removes it.
Retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service, respond to your request, or meet legal obligations. You can request deletion at any time.
Your choices
You can request deletion, access, or correction through the support form or by emailing support@askmingpath.com. We may need to verify that you control the email address linked to the request before changing or deleting records.
Important boundary
Ming Path is for self-reflection, cultural exploration, journaling, and entertainment. It does not provide medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice.
